Back from my trip

My trip to Spain and London ended when we boarded the bus yesterday midnight heading back here to Glasgow. We reached the bus station today morning at 8 am after a long bumpy, cramp and stuffy ride. Didn't had much sleep in the bus. Hmm.. didn't had any either during the day today. The trip was fun and relaxing. Unlike the time when we were in Italy. We took our time enjoying the country. However, even though this trip we didn't have to carry our back packs all around, it was more tiring than the time we had in Italy. Maybe it's because of the cold weather. Talking about cold weather, it snowed much tonight and it's still snowing. We went out to build snowman and slide down the slope behind our block. Great fun!! Haven't had so much laugh since the last summer. This is my first snow experience. Maybe after a few days of snowing I might be hoping that it didn't snow so much... But anyway, I'll be enjoying the snow when I still like it...
Meet.... errrr.... frosty! the snowman... no not the one on the right...

plagiarism...

Few days back I got back my introduction from my supervisor... The result from the scan state that my work consisted of 13.35% similarity with (include in print out 27 websites) articles from the internet. My expression at that moment was like O_O??!!??... I did my introduction by myself in my own words and the websites given I had not seen. Well, that's still alright I thought, there must be thousands of work outside on the internet. Finding something similar is not so surprising since my work contains a lot of facts. But still, 27 websites... and only for 13.35% of my work... *hmmm... these authors must have BLOODY COPIED every word from each other!!!...* *sigh* It's either I have to bend and alter facts, give a novel length explanation for something worth one sentence or use poor grammar in order to make it my own work... -_-"...

Call from home...

Today, at around 3pm, I got a long distance call from friends in Malaysia!!. Whao, was I surprised!! We chat for at least half an hour. Appreciateed their call, but they had to tell me that they are having a 'yum cha' session... -_-"... knowing that I miss it so much... Anyway, got to hear their voices again is really relieving. Then, got to talk 'fai wah' (crap) with my buddy.. ahahaha... how I miss it so much... Spending time with friends outside at night, talking crap, enjoying each others company. Bloody hell!! now the next 8 months will seem F long!! Wah!!.. I wanna go yum cha!!! I wanna talk crap with my friends!!! I wanna eat good food again!!!... T^T ...

Screensaver for my phone...

This is a screen saver I made for my phone. Was made quite a while ago...

Semester break just started

Had just gone through 2 class test, one yesterday and one today. The one we had yesterday was drug delivery systems, which consists of various types of current delivery systems. The class test contributes 50 percent to the degree paper and this is a 'one off' type where the subjects tested will not appear again in the final year paper. In this class test, we are only tested on four sub topics and already the heavy reading material. Journals... and more journals... Before the test, I was already feeling nauseous from all the reading. HOWEVER, during the test, I realised that we were given only very limited time to complete the short answer questions or rather, it should instead be called short novel questions. The question given were general and alot of information could be given but, what the heck, the time given was not enough. Ahh... hope what I put in is enough to get me good grades...

Today's paper was on recent advances of current researches and it require us to read a journal and answer 8 questions in 3 hours. Well, I think the time given should be sufficient... I think? I completed all the questions given with some answers being cut short. Besides, usually, I take a day just to finish a journal, so today I think I burned a few fuses going overdrive on finishing the journal in 1 and a half hour. Felt my head burning after the test... Hah... I myself was wondering why did I go all out on this test... it was only a mock test and no marks are to be given... Anyhow, I'm glad it's all over now. Now, I'll be waiting for my trip to Spain... Ohh.. still have to look up on a few destinations... Hmm.. guess I won't be free for a while yet...

I wonder....

When I was 15, I discovered that I love science. I love the logical, evidence-based thinking and thus, this have caused me to persue a career along the scientific line. Back then, I can't even draw to save my own life, as they would say. But I still like arts though. Just that I can't produce artistic works, I'm still interested in arts; umm.. such as music, I've learned to play the guitar, not talented at it though; I like making sculptures, took ages to produce anything good, but still... hai... give me some credit ok???... -_-" ...; and I love designs and other art stuffs lah... lazy to explain so much. Well, that's then. Now, I'm doing a degree in pharmacy and I realised I'm getting well, more in touch with my artistic side?? I got better in drawing and lately I've been making wallpapers.... ahahaha... So, my conclusion is, I've been wondering, may it be, because I've exhausted the left side of the brain and now the right side is kicking in? Hmmm... it's only a hypothesis...
