"Don't encourage beggars, donate to other charities"
This is one headline of a short article appeared in The Star newspaper yesterday which caught my eyes. In this short article, we, the public are asked to stop giving money to beggars to discourage them from begging. It's even believed that they are syndicates involved in transporting beggars to beg in street corners.
This really makes me think, what have this world come to? Even the kindness and good-nature of others are exploited, used as a way to making money. Are we supposed to walk away from street beggars the next time we see them? Not thinking that they may really need our help?
